A spacious retreat for up to 10 people
The lodge has a fantastic layout for groups, whether you're traveling with family, friends, or a guided group of people you just met. There are plenty of places to find your own space, and also large areas that are great for congregating.
The central part of the main level includes the large kitchen / dining room, a full bathroom, and the living room with picture windows and a gas fireplace. Just off the kitchen you'll find a small outdoor breezeway that hosts the recycling center and the grill.
A hallway off the main living room brings you to three bedrooms and another full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms each have a queen bed, and one bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed.
If you head upstairs, you'll find an open loft area that overlooks the main living room. In this loft area we have two couches, a TV, and a desk. A small covered back deck is accessible from here, if you'd like to find a little private outdoor time. The master suite is located just off this loft area, and has two queen beds, a small table / chairs, a futon, and a private full bathroom.
Stairs lead from the kitchen down to the basement, where you'll find a brand new laundry room with a washer / dryer and utility sink.
No matter what the weather, you can enjoy a soak in the covered 6-person hot tub on the front deck! And if you catch a sunny day, your group might enjoy reminiscing about the day around the table on the deck.
We have ample parking in our large driveway. We live just across the driveway in a separate cabin. Our cabin opens up to a lawn with horseshoe pits, raised garden beds, and a fire pit. Your group is welcome to use the fire pit, if you just let us know when you'd like to do it and we'll get you all set up!
Of course, we have high speed Wi-Fi for your use.
We love being accessible to help with any questions you have, give local advice, and get to know you while you're in Seward! We'll do our best to give your party privacy and space... but we're always open interacting as much as you would like.
