HOUSE RULES & EXPECTATIONS
We require a completed and signed rental agreement / lease. Please read these policies and expectations carefully to be sure you understand them and are willing to abide by them before moving forward with the application process.
HOUSE RULES & EXPECTATIONS:
The property is located in a condominium complex, and guests are responsible for maintaining an appropriate noise and activity level while on the property. Our HOA covenants ask that the exterior of the property is kept neat, clean, and free of personal clutter / belongings.
The unit can accommodate up to four people maximum, and we can only rent to a single family group (HOA rules).
Please park either in the garage or in front of Unit 8 only. We allow a maximum of 4 cars total, as that is the capacity of the garage / driveway. Parking is prohibited in the complex street area.
Please do not wear any shoes in the house. House slippers may be worn, but we ask that all shoes be removed at the door. **If you have special needs that make this request difficult, please call us in advance to discuss further.
No pets are allowed in the home.
Please leave all doors shut and locked when you are not home.
Please do not leave any food or drink on the patio or anywhere outside unsupervised for a prolonged period of time. Please clean the grill thoroughly after use. We do have bears and other wildlife in the area, and accidentally feeing them could lead to their demise.
Smoking is not allowed in or on the property.
Any visitors on the property are the sole responsibility of the renter.
This property is privately owned, and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the renter. By accepting this lease, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. If anything does break, please let us know right away so that we can get it fixed.
Only use appliances for their intended uses.
Although the HOA does all exterior maintenance and groundskeeping, we do ask that you, the tenant, keep the walkway to the front door clear at all times for safety and cleanliness. We will leave a shovel to manage snow / ice in the winter (very little snow gets on the walkway, but it does need some attention) and a broom to manage leaves and debris in the summer / fall.
Fireplace: The fireplace is a vented gas unit. Please do not touch the glass face. It is EXTREMELY hot when the fireplace is on, and injury can occur. There is a timer, located on the wall to the right of the fireplace, to turn the fireplace on or off.
Water and Sewer: The property is on city water and sewer. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or other inappropriate items have been flushed and clog the pipes, the plumbing bill will be charged to you.
